Another horrifying case of domestic violence that leaves two young children dead along with their grandmother and the children’s mother – who is suspected of committing the killings in San Clemente, California.
Investigators are performing tests on the handgun to determine if Elizabeth Fontaine or her mother, 67-year old Bonnie Hoult, committed the crimes.
Fontaine apparently had lost custody of her two children (Catherine – 4, Julia – 2) and was ordered by the court to relinquish possession of the children their Aunt, sister of the children’s father.
This story is just developing so the circumstances surround Fontaine’s recent move to Houston and the changing custodial arrangement remain unclear.
From the article:
John York, an attorney for the children’s father, said Wednesday Elizabeth Fontaine had been told to return to Orange County court with her daughters later Monday for a final ruling.
The killings occurred only hours after the court’s ruling.

Please wait to receive all the information about t the Elizabeth Fontaine case. We are court advocates for victims of domestic violence and Elizabeth was refered to us in 2008 because of her daughter Catherine’s alleged molestation by her father. Elizabeth emailed us on December 12 , 2009 to see if we could be with her as support in court on that Monday for a custody hearing. She was going to present evidence, she said.Unfortunately, I could not reach her. She lived in fear as did her mother that the children would be molested over and over. No excuses, just a bit of backround. We at New Life Advocacy think that if we could have been there on that Monday as support and the voice of reason, perhaps this horrilbe tragedy could have been averted. Never, ever is there any reason to kill children, Never.

Karol, with all due respect to the work you perform, this is a similar accusation we hear far too often in custody cases and very often, the allegations are completely unsupported and, in fact – false. She committed a heinous crime and tossing accusations against the father in the aftermath of such a tragedy is very poor form, but at least you got a plug in, right?
“You” at New Life Advocacy have no problem going out and posting allegations of child molestation, incestuous child molestation at that, against a man solely on an email from a clearly deranged woman, and trot that out here as some sort of defense? Shameful for you and your organization.
With all due respect Karol, you’re overestimating your power or competence in this situation. Woman involved in hoax abuse allegations OFTEN seek out agencies like yours posting on the internet because they know you are true believers of them before having any objective evidence. Dr Lenore Walker did an evaluation and believed the child was abused in part because she vomited when asked. The Bubble Boy on live tv vomited too because of the pressure from his father to lie. Its a sign of being pressured to say the right thing more than a sign of abuse having occurred by the father. You have no more ability to detect whether this child was abused by the father than a fortune teller would have. The evidence is clear that the mother and grandmother murdered these children. The only real abuse proven here is that the mother did not want to be separated from the children even if it required killing them. Organizations like yours speaking out in support of these deranged mothers do more harm than good because the women attracted to you, the ones looking for you online, are looking for people who believe them the way they believe in a religion–based on faith instead of facts.
